Certain medications may have adverse side effects, or counteract the treatment, when taken at the time of the injections. Avoid any anti-inflammatory medications for at least one week before the procedure. The restrictions on anti-inflammatory drugs will help to reduce the risks of bruising and bleeding at the injection site.
Juvederm® Recovery
You should avoid engaging in any type of strenuous activity for 24 hours after the Juvederm® injections. Try to avoid touching the injection sites on the face. Other activities to avoid include consuming alcohol within 24 hours of the procedure and excess heat, sunlight and cold temperatures for two weeks after the procedure.
